A general assembly took place on the 18th of February 2021 in order to elect the upcoming LGBC Board 2021-2022.
After ensuring quorum, the assembly started with a welcome note from President Rima Sorour Al Housseiny (2019-2020), followed by a financial presentation to the financial statement 2020 by LGBC auditor Mrs. Rita Abou Kadah that was approved by assembly attendees.
Mrs. Al Housseiny explained LGBC accomplishments for the previous year and different projects achieved, welcomed the new elected board
who won the election by acclamation and thanked the nominating committee Mr. Elie Baradhy, Mr. Walid El Baba, and Mrs. Nabila Kabbara for monitoring the election process.
Mrs. Al Housseiny announced a granted free membership to all 2020 individual and student members aligned with latest economic situation in Lebanon.
