Beirut, Lebanon – February 21, 2025
The Lebanon Green Building Council (LebanonGBC) is pleased to announce the results of the General Assembly held on February 21, 2025, where the Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 term was elected.
The assembly kicked off with a welcome note from Eng. Pierre Dammous, the outgoing President (2023-2024), who addressed the assembly members. Following this, Mr. Elie Krayem, LebanonGBC’s auditor from K & K Auditors & Consultants, presented the 2024 financial statements. These were approved by the assembly members, ensuring full transparency in the organization’s financial standing.
Eng. Afif Nassim, the outgoing General Secretary (2023-2024), also presented a detailed overview of LebanonGBC’s achievements during the past two years, shedding light on the key projects and milestones that have helped advance sustainable building practices in Lebanon.

Following the election, LebanonGBC is excited to announce the newly elected members of the Board for the 2025-2026 term:
– President: Dr. Samir Traboulsi
– Vice President: Eng. Afif Nassim
– Secretary: Eng. Fady Ghareeb
– Treasurer: Eng. Tony Aazan
– Accountant: Eng. Toufic Assoum
– Board Member: Eng. Jack Ghosn
– Board Member: Eng. Ibrahim Kronfol
The newly elected board members bring a wealth of experience and passion for sustainable building practices and will continue the vital work of LebanonGBC in advancing green building efforts across the country.
