Mr. Adib Dada , LGBC member and the founder of theOtherDada [tOD] Integrated Consultancy & Architecture firm, which mission is to activate projects across architecture, living systems, and art will be presenting this webinar under the title “Nature-Based Solutions for the future city”, Urban Afforestation as a tool for ecological and social regeneration. The Webinar will be organized by Mr. Naji Tannous – LGBC board member and founding member of LGBC. BRIEF: Nature-Based Solutions can be used in the city as an alternative to heavy and carbon-intensive infrastructural projects, providing human well-being and biodiversity benefits. By implementing urban afforestation, we can regenerate degraded leftover lands into a shared space between humans and native fauna and flora, tackle urban flooding, reduce pollution and urban heat island effect.
